GeoTIFF NoData Small Shifted

rasterGeoTIFFEPSG:32633tinybundled

A copy of the small NoData GeoTIFF shifted exactly one pixel east while preserving CRS, resolution, band structure, and pixel values. Useful for testing whether raster alignment logic recognizes grids that are aligned on the same pixel lattice but have different extents.

Pixels of geotiff_nodata_small_shifted, a 10x10 raster, with NoData in magenta
10x10 px. Rendered from the case's actual pixels, contrast-stretched for display; NoData is shown in magenta.

What this case checks

Expose alignment helpers that require identical extents instead of recognizing rasters that share the same pixel lattice with an integer-pixel offset.

Risk types covered

  • scaling/pixel_lattice_misclassification
  • transform/alignment_too_strict
  • transform/shifted_origin

Expected behavior

Assertion Expected
expect_loadable yes
expect_crs yes
expected_epsg 32633
expect_nodata yes
expected_shape [10, 10]

Known answer

Computed from the actual bytes and gated against them. Grade your own output against these.

Quantity Value
Mean over valid pixels 48.0787352901
Mean including NoData -152.8628394157
NoData pixels 2
Bounds (case CRS) [501000.0, 5600000.0, 511000.0, 5610000.0]

Notes

This fixture is a one-pixel eastward shift of geotiff_nodata_small. It keeps resolution, CRS, band count, and nodata settings unchanged, but moves the origin by one pixel so alignment logic can distinguish exact-equality checks from true pixel-lattice compatibility.
